ORDINARY MANURES
Nitrogenous Manures
These are the manures that contain nitrogen. While determining the amount of nitrogenous manure to be used; taken into consideration are nitrogen and organic material content of the earth to be manured, and nitrogen necessity of the plant to be grown. Nitrogenous manures make the plant take root, blossom and grow. They expedite ripening of plants. They increase product quality. They ripen the grains, prevent them from abscising and increases fertility.
Phosphoric and Potassic Manures
These are the manures that contain phosphor and potassium. Phosphoric manures make the plant take root, blossom and grow. They expedite ripening of plants. They increase product fertility and quality. They prevent grain abscission. They increase the resistance of the plants against drought and diseases. The grains shall be more mature. Potassic manures increase the resistance of the plants against heat, cold and drought. They increase product fertility and quality. They prevent damages that can arise from nitrogen excess. They expedite ripening of plants.
Compound Manures
Compound manures contain more than one nutrients at the same time. The contained nutrients in these manures are; nitrogen, phosphor and potassium. These nutrients are mentioned subsequently, in percentages. For instance; a composition of 20-20-20 compound manure contains 20 kilos of pure nitrogen, 20 kilos of phosphor and 20 kilos of potassium, in 100 kilograms. As compound manures contain various nutrients at the same time; they provide the farmers with savings and convenience, by virtue of spending less effort and time.
SPECIAL MANURES
Liquid Manures
Liquid manure is the type of manure, which activates in earth faster than other manures, which is considerably rapid and improving, which can be applied as liquid or solution.
Pure Manures
It is the kind of manure, in which high amounts of phosphor can be given together with nitrogen and which is water-soluble. It is the most convenient way to compensate desired ratio of phosphor need of the plants, and to give low levels of nitrogen at the same time.
